Have solved problem referred to in posting of June 01.
The Energy Saver Control Panel (OS 9.0.4) was causing interruption in midi data stream. Don't know why...... just know it did. Everything fine now.
Thanks to all those who sent replies and tried to help.
Mac OS 9.0.4 on G4 400 with Sibelius 1.22 and Delta Logic 4.8.1.
During playback of sequences, the vertical bar which follows the score (Sibelius) or the midi data (Logic) is not smooth in motion. It is staggered. Worse - beats skipped and short delays at repeats (Sibelius) and notes dropping out and beats missed (Logic).
Any ideas please? Desperate to solve.
