We have a G4 with OSX connected to an Epson CX6200.
Of recent the G4 shows a blank panel and doesn't SEE the Epson in it's print menus - and yet if we tell the G4 to scan something, the 6200 responds, and then will print the scanned item.
Using the printer utility, the G4 sees the printer, but still won't transfer that over to the ordinary print menus.
Two options we thought might influence it were that one of the ink carts needs replacing (but that shouldn't stop the [process??), and also that we have an unpowered USB2 splitter which shares the available USB between the printer and the keyboard/mouse combo (it worked when originally set up).
Any ideas?

Pleeeeeeease help! - I'm happily using an ProTools LE002 (rack) with a Panther G5, and have Logic Pro(6) installed on the drive.
When I try to open Logic, error boxes open up:
1 - DAE No Audio hardware found (-9025)
2 - Error code 25974 returned by Core Audio driver

If I 'continue' despite the above I also get:
Error trying to sync Audio and Midi

also I've had:
Error code by DAE -1133
and
Error code -2 returned by Core Audio

I did have Logic working after a fashion (but previously to installing and uninstalling a Waves demo package and repairing permissions)
Thanks

I'm running ProTools 002 on a G5, and I'm so far OK for memory on the separate HD. However, I've discovered that any song file will work quite happily on the latest version of audio files that PT creates, so in a couple of instances I've deleted the old audio files - the song still comes up OK, but it brings up a menu to recreate the deleted files, or search for them.
Somewhere I have already reduced the number of backup files to keep, perhaps in preferences/options or similar.
Could anyone advise how I can "normalise" the current reduced version of the song file.
I'd like to keep the 'multitrack' versions of songs as well the mixes, but I need the files to be as small as reasonably possible.
many thanks,
Bloot
