Hi...
Im borrowing a friends g4 laptop for a live set and am trying to make my quattro soundcard work with it. The machines operating system is OS10.2.3. I downloaded the latest drivers from the maudio website for OSX and the computer definitly seems to recognize the quattro... i can set it as default output and input in the audiomidi set up panel in 'utilities' and in Ableton i can select 'core audio' and the quattro as input and output. Problem is, after many restarts, no audio will play through Live.... sometimes when i try and change the sample rate the play button goes green and looks like its about to play but theres no movement/no sound. Does this sound like a sample rate issue? whats the deal? Ive tried all the different sample rate options.
I would be so gratefull for anyones help... live set is looming.
