Hi there, I was using logic 4.8 with an m-audio firewire 410 but I had to sell my old system and buy a new one. Now I have an m-audio audiobuddy preamp. On my old setup when I installed the asio driers into one of logics folders then the virtual mixing desk would come up all routed. Without the asio drivers I just get a blank screen. How do you set it up to work with the macs internal soundcard?
I have a 600mhz graphite imac and a 450mhz G3 powermac. would it be possible to swap the processors over so the powermac would run at 600mhz?
I am currently using a M-Audio fw410 with an imac. The imac is now a bit broken so I just bought a G3 powermac to replace it. I want to know if there is an internal soundcard that does exactly the same stuff as the 410. I need XLR's and phantom power and a breakout box thingy.
Hello There. I was attempting to link a couple of macs with firewire to transer some files. I blatantly didn't know what I was doing and I couldnt get it to work. The problem is that my M-Audio Firewire 410 which was working wonderfully is now not recognised. It is still drawing power from the fw port as the blue light is flashing but it jsut wont recognise. Have I fried the ports or do they just need reseting or something?
(im using a graphite crt imac 600mhz 512mb)
Any ideas where I can download a manual for Logic 4.5?
