Got mbox today for allegedly painless transfer of Korg trinity sequences to hard disk. Okay... not so painless after all.

I'm running OS 10.3.2 After loading software, installing external firewire drive and connecting self-powered speakers - no sound.

After opening pro tools 6.4, however, USB led indicates I have a connection, but I'm guessing protools is not recognizing Mbox. I can't hear a thing off the headphone out or the external speakers.

Also my diagrams of the various tranpsort/mix/ record windows don't seem to be exactly the same as listed in the manual.

My goal is to transfer my trinity workstation sequenced songs to hard drive and then add vocals for basic songwriter demos. Here's hoping that there's an mbox veteran out there that can take me through a simple am I connnected drill.

Thanks for any help.
