i want to imrpove on my maudio410, and want to use my f/wire 800 drive straight into my mac, anyone hands on experience of the new rme f/wire 800 interface, any other passionate support for other candidates?

does a slot in card into myp/bk offer better performance?

M Audion K/station 88 And Logic

just got my k/station 88 - cracking keyboard and control set....but

i can work out how to set up virtual synth key control for v station and others, but despite having the cc numbers for most of the logic instruments (article in www.dancetech.com), i don't seem able to control them from the keyboard - they just dont connect

this is one of my main reasons for getting a full control keyboard, to be able to tweak exs24 sounds from the keyboard for simplicity - does anyone else find its window fiddly to read?

anyone got any advice?

can i get instrument and one shot sample names on the the keyboard in matrix edit>

is there any way of controlling virtual and logic instruments sound selection within arrange, rather than having to open them each time to change a sound?

Phatmatik Pro Problem

i use logic pro 6 on a 17" p/bk. i'm suddenly getting a core audio memory message when i try and open pahtmatik pro, even when a song doesn't have anything else recorded.

“core audio – insufficient memory to open – error 10108”
anyone have a similar experience or any advice?

Korg Triton Vs Roland Fantom As Controllers

ok, thinking about getting a new proper keyboard for using with g4 and logic, had a look in the local stores, some new 88 note weighted keyboards coming out. possible

went to e bay and found korg triton pro 88 for probabaly £650, or a roland fantom s88 for maybe £450. 2 fantastic options as well as hopefully great controller keyboards

will this work, or am i missing something?

anyone any experience with either as a controller?
