Alrighty, does anyone know the "proper" way to chance a file's time signature from 4/4 to 3/4? We tried it one way, but it didn't seem to work out too well. Please help!
Does anyone know if there is a quality loss from exporting from DP4 as an AIFF, instead of SDII file? Many thanks
Ok, my band has recorded a few songs now in Digital Performer 4, and really like our mix. What is the best way to export the songs and retain their great sound quality? Any help is much appriciated, thanks!
Ok, I just got the Edirol UM-1 USB MIDI Interface and connected my Yamaha DGX-500 to my Dual 1.25 Ghz G4 Powermac. I set up MIDI in Digital Performer 4, and sequenced a little song. I have it set up with the Apple built in piano intrument and I was wondering how I can get different MIDI intruments installed into DP4. I also have no idea where I can get these instruments. Are there packs of softwear instruments I can buy? Also, I really like the patches on my DGX-500 and would love it if I could get softwear instruments from Yamaha of the same patches. As you can tell i know absolutely nothing about this brave new world and I would apreciate any help I could get .
When you record a stereo track in Digital Performer 4 for OSX 10.3, the wave form appears in the main window as two seprate wave forms stacked on top of each other- as opposed to having the right channel flipped under the left, creating that "mirror-image" wave form look. Is there any way to change the way the wave forms are displayed in the main seqencer window? Thanks for the help!
