Hello,

This is a question for Logic 6 users.
Is there a way to get my stereo track to automatically reach the threshold without clipping? I would like my mix to be as hot as possible without any distortion or digital farts.

I know that I can do it manually, but that can take a lot of listening time, and I am sort of in a rush.
If anyone knows of a secret button, please lemme in on it.

thanks,

hi,

i just recently purchased logic 6 and a g4 powerbook. i also have a yamaha aw4416 harddisk recorder. does the aw4416 become redundant now that i have a computer based system? is there something i could use the aw for in my new computer based system? or should i sell the aw and get myself some memory and a monitor?

please advise,
thanks

Hi,

I have just bought the g4 powerbook with 1.25 GHz processor.
I was about to purchase logic platinum 6, but was told that this is optimized for the new G5, and should purchase logic 5 instead.
Does anyone know if this is true? I assumed that the newer version would have better features and would run smoothly on either system.

lemme know,
thanks

I just recently purchased a G4 powerbook with superdrive.
I want to purchase Logic Platinum 6 and use it to record and sequence live tracks as well as some midi stuff. I will be using a Yamaha AW4416, Korg Triton, and live instruments and mics with the powerbook. Does anyone have a good suggestion for an affordable, yet professionally minded soundcard? huh.gif

Danke.
