I'm making the move to osX, but Soundmaker by Micromat isn't by the looks of things. I love this program and use it a lot - for learning tracks, mainly of fiddle and other folk instruments. Taking in files from either minidisk or cd, slowing down the tempo to any value I like, normalise and save. My wife, a music teacher, also uses it to record lessons and give to students on cd - fast and simple.

I'm very grateful if anyone can recommend a good osX program that does similar, can be shareware. Doesn't have to do 64 tracks etc, just simple, cheap and effective music capture and editing.

Many thanks, Dave
