This is gonna seem like a dum question but I´ve switched from cubase and I cant seem to find any of the Audio Unit plug-ins? In fact the only way Ive so far been able to find them is loading them in Garage Band and importing the file. I tried to change Instrument 1 etc. but unless Ive loaded this in Garage Band there are no instuments there. Will somebody please tell me how I find them. PS. I´ve ran the AU Manager and loaded most of the plugs and done a few hotfix updates to make other work.
Hiya Just trying to work out if there is anyway to improve the latency on the firewire 410 with programs like guitar rig. I am currently even getting drop outs at 16ms. A friend of mine seems to be getting better results from an Mbox is this normal? Any advice appreciated! Powerbook G4 15" 1.25ghz OSX 10.37
I am just buying a Powerbook 15" G4 1.25 with 10.3(Panther)and also M Audios Firewire 410. Can anyone assure me that this is a good system for recording music and approx the limitations of audio and midi? (how many tracks etc.) I have always stuck by my trusty Atari 1040 but realised it was time to switch. Ive owned macs for years but never for music as I had so many problems with cubase on the mac. Whats the timing like? Any glitching? Does the Firewire 410 work with OSX 10.3. Can you write an entire track in audio, I am assuming that the mac records the audio track so I wont need to take the device when arranging, is this right?? Any other advice, greatly appreciated Later
