OK i am a newbie MAC person over from the PC world. this G5 is my first EVER macf and i bought i for my home studio. However i run cubase 2.0 SX and there is one HUGE bug where the bottons etc keep dissapearing off of the tracks and the transport bar.
On the cubase forum they say it is a MAC issue so i thought i would come over here and ask what MAC people thought. for many many peopl on the cubase forum this is a show stopper since you can do nothing when the buttons dissapear but try and re click on them to bring them back which is a PAIN and dangerous, i re triggered record a couple of times on tracks i didn't want too. any thoughts?? I am running the latest version of MAC OS X and Cubase. i have upgraded them both faithfully thanks for the help

Hello
I have not yet purchased my MAC yet, and i am a PC user for the past 10 years or so. anyway i have a couple of questions, i spec'd out a MAC G5 with 1 gig ram, 160 gig harddrive, mac os x, etc and logic platinum 6. i have a roland vs2480, triton pro workstation, and POD guitar effects processor now. i want to MIDI sync this whole studio together and more importantly i am wondering what anyone recommends for creating drums for songs? with loops and with a synth? i have some experience with fruity loops and also i have used the triton extensively for drums. does fruity loops run on a MAC?? ACID?? CUBASE?? these are what i am familiar with?? can anyone recommmened something like these or it s equivalent on the mac?? thanks much |
