After working mostly glitch-free for months, my 828 unit doesn't want to hook up with my Mac G4 Titanium laptop. Every once in a while I would get an error window saying that the MOTU 828 has been shut off or disconected or to check driver, etc... I would simply turn the unit off, and then back on, then the unit would "recognize" the 828 unit and I could continue recording. Well, now the unit simply refuses to acknowledge that my 828 is conected to the FireWire port. I have tried everything I can think of. The FireWire port works fine with my CD burner and DVD burner, so that's not the problem. I have checked all settings and prefrences and cleaned up my harddrive and double checked everything... I reloaded the software, and can't think of anything else... maybe the 828 unit itself has a problem??? Any Ideas???
