For the first time since i got my firewore 410 soundcard Im trying to record a real instrument. And now I have one problem. Please help me out here.
I have connected my Bass with a 1/4 and I can record but I get a mono signal. Guess this is supposed to happen but I would like to monitor what i play and I dont understand how to set the mixer software so that the input is recognised as mono. That is, I want to here what im playing in mono (in both channels of my headphones/Speakers. Now I only hear it on left channel). I can do this when i record in Ableton but not when I use the mixer in M-Audios Firewire Interface.
Is this possible?
How do I get it to work?
Or am I misunderstanding something and being a complete idiot?

thanks
