OK,

this should be easy but it is not, and it seems there are many ways of doing this.

I have Mach Five and eventually figured out how to Trigger Mach Five sounds from a midi file and then bus (record) that as audio.

Now Reason seems more of a challenge.

It seems you can route the audio from Reason but all I am getting is the Stereo Reason Mix.

I want individual tracks routed and then recorded in to DP 4.5

Now supposedly you do this with the "Freeze Tracks" function in DP.

But a major complaint, every time you Freeze Track(s) it Overwrites the track you just Froze, of course you still have the Soundbite, but it is a hassle to have it overwrite in Tracks window.

Ideally I wish to do this.

Take a Reason project, export the MIDI file, open this midi file in DP, and Trigger the sounds from Reason, then when I like everything, Freeze Tracks / Route / record the audio from Reason as discrete audio tracks into DP 4.5.

I can already do this with Mach Five, just need to do it in Reason now.

thanks,

jk
