Hi,

Are there any applications that record audio and convert it directly to mp3 (oggvorbis, ... whatever) before writing it to disk?

Hi,

so we are almost done recording our first album. However i'm not content anymore with the way the drums sound, especially the snare and bass drum. Too muffled and rehearsal room like. Is there a cheap and effective way to convert the audio to midi notes so i can trigger a sampler?

Hello together,

I am using OS 9.0.4 on my G3 b/w 400 and had some trouble with it. I'm thinking about upgrading to 9.1 or 9.2.2. Does anyone knows about incompatibilities with my brand new Motu 828 and Audiodesk. Or maybe my old Cubase 4.0?

Thanks

Happy Easter!

I'm using Yamaha's dsp factory with a b/w G3 under Macos 9. Everything works fine in Cubase but I can't use the audio outputs of the card when playing back audio outside of Cubase. I installed the driver using the Yamaha installer. The driver is in the 'system extensions' folder but in the audio dialog under 'preferences' it doesn't appear. What's wrong?

Hi everybody,

I thought the G3 b/w built in harddrive was fast. However, when playing back 16 tracks in Cubase vst and using some fx the performance meter shows overload and nasty popping occurs. Can that be? Did the guy I bought it from change the harddrive and built in a cheaper one? On the label it says IBM. Also, it has about 14 gigabyte capacity.
In the pc I used previously I had an IBM ddrs scsi harddrive. I mixed 32 tracks without any performance problems. Can I use it with the Formac scsi controller? How do I format it? Dous anyone know?
