I am a Mac music beginner, with a problem I can't seem to solve.

I want to select one track in Protools LE, but by default, for some reason the grabber tool seems to select across several tracks instead of only where I click.

I don't want to select an entire region.

What am I doing wrong? Are some of my PTLE settings screwed up?

Thanks,
Sal

I have an MS2000R and last night when I went to the local Music Shop, I tried out the newer model: MS2000BR... the only differences on the outside were the fact that it's now black, and has a dedicated vovoder mike jack on the face.

Then I started trying out the patches...

I fell in love with some of the new patches on the machine, but I can't find anyplace to download them to my synth.

I went on the KORG site, and they have 2 sets of patch files... I uploaded them both to my MS2K and found that they were different from those in the MS2KBR (the newer model)

I am asking a favor, can anyone do a data dump and save the file as a midi, or sysex file, even both (since I am a beginner, I don't know which one will be compatible with sysex librarian), I'd love to send the new files to my MS2kR, and use the latest patches.

Thanks if anyone can help.
