After using Windows and Cakewalk for many years I decided to give Mac and Logic a try.
I purchased a G4 Powerbook and Logic Big Box late last year but got frustrated very quickly and stuck with Cakewalk Sonar. I have recently decided to persevere and try again.
My problem is a stupid one. I cannot get the Powerbook to play back any sounds from within Logic. I have kept it simple by using standard midifiles which play quite happily from Quicktime but not from Logic. By using a MT4 midi interface via USB it will drive a Yamaha QY100 sequencer quite happily but refuses to extract a single sound from the on-board sound card.
I am sure that there is a simple solution. All suggestions will be gratefully received.
Thanks....Paul.
