Will this really run ALL Windows based pc programs? I assume that would mean music production programs as well??

Apple G5 1.8 Single Processor Versus Dual Models..

From what I've been told the G5 1.8 single processor is much more stable than the more powerful models with dual processors, especially in regards to music editing???

Anyone care to speak from experiance regarding this???

Any opinions on this version of logic? Ease of use, how it compares to the Platinum version?

It'll be installed on an Apple G4, 867mhz dual-processor 512k machine.

Also.., 9.2 or OSX10.2 for installation?

Best Audio Set Up For My Mac G4

I've just recently purchased an older G4 that runs @ 400 mhz. has a 20 gig HD and 320k RAM.

I want to reformat it and use it for a home studio set-up only. I will add much more memory and am wondering which Logic Audio program would be best for this compute with 9.2 for the OS?

I'm leaning toward Logic 5.. Good choice or no?
