Okay, so as of yet, I really know nothing about recording... but i plan on teaching myself, of course through the help of you guys at this forum.... smile.gif i will be moving in shortly to a smaller house, and it has a large closet area that i need to install a door in.... no windows... if i get some sorta padding and what not, do you guys think that it would be ideal for recording situations? hehe.... future...

thx,

hello,

i was wondering about programs that i could use to capture the beats/rhythms in my head? Sometimes they're very fleeting, and i am utterly confused on how to transfer them on to my computer so quickly.... actually, i'm very confused on where to begin, with anything, but i won't go into that... are their some free programs that might do the trick?

so, i would like to record any kind of sound possible: sounds in nature, my instruments, voices, and what not for future manipulation cool.gif ... is there some small portable device out there that would be reasonable in price, and compatable with my ibook? I would like to catalog these sound files as well onto my laptop, and so i'm wondering how to go about doing this?

thanks
