Every now and then I feel the need to make a track for the sheer amusement of myself and friends. Here is a video I made for one such track. Sample "I know you gonna dig this" taken from "He Cuts So Fresh" by Marley Marl The video requires QuickTime 7. http://www.tntrecordings.org/streams/digthis/I had fun making this, I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to comment. TD
We have recently completed our latest CD of Downtemo, Drum and Bass, and Dub inspired tracks. All produced and mastered in our Mac studios. You can check it out here: www.cdbaby.com/tntrecordingsThanks, TD
Has anyone here had any luck using a UC-33 with ProToolsLE ?
PTLE's control surface documentation specifies that, to use a 3rd party control surface (ie. one that does not have a personality file) one should select "JL Cooper CS-10" and set up your controller accordingly, They also provide the controller data info for you to use. I think the controls they provide are NRPN data but I'm just not sure.
Has anyone messed around with this, or another "unsupported" controller with PTLE ?
Otherwise the UC-33 works great with Live, Reason, even Logic, but no luck with PT.
Thanks,
Does anyone know of anything that will let one use their MIDI controller to control transport on iTunes? I have messed around with MIDIPipe using Applescript trigger, but not had much luck. I just think it would be cool to use my UC-33 to control transport on iTunes when I'm not using a sequencer.
Any ideas? Thanks,
I am curious to know if anyone has used an M-Audio Sonica Theater for multiple outputs?
I would like to use with my iBook, with Traktor or Ableton, utilizing multiple sets of outputs. I know that it is a surround device, but I am not sure if the outputs can be selected individually as output sources in audio programs.
If so, it will make a nice inexpensive mobile solution for DJ with Traktor, or live performance w/ Ableton.
Any Ideas?
Thanks, TD
