Hello masters of MIDI sound

I have the following combination :
Creative SB Live ! sound card
Fasoft n-Track studio (digital recording mixer)
Native Instruments FM7 (S/W synth)

I recorded a MIDI track in the n-Track.
Now, I channeled the MIDI track to the ‘SB Live MIDI Out (1040)’.
The other two MIDI outs are connected to the MIDI syth of the Creative sound card (‘A: SB Live MIDI Synth’ and ‘B: SB Live MIDI Synth’).
In the MIDI settings of the FM7 I configured the MIDI input to be the
‘SB Live MIDI In (1040)’.
For some reason I can’t make the FM7 play the MIDI track I recorded.
I tried changing and trying all of the 16 MIDI channels, but with no success.
I just can’t figure out what is wrong.
I want to be able to play the recorded MIDI track while using the reach sound of the FM7 for recording an audio track.
I really need help on this. Anyone with a practical idea ???
