Using 002 And 828 Mk1 With Pt Le

Ram Transfer

Hi all,
Im finally going to take the plunge and upgrade from my 400mhz 15in tibook to a new 1.5 15inch alubook. My question is can I keep and use the 1gig of ram from my old machine and plonk it into the new one? I think the ram is 2 512 sticks of PC100-222S SDRAM.

Or am I better off to sell it with the ram and geta couple of extra bucks?

Is this the same spec as the ram that is being shipped in the new alubooks?

Also has anyone else made this jump in processor speed, as Im keen to know how much of a difference Ill be able to notice.

Has Anyone Bought A 1.6 G5

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has bought one of the single processor G5's yet. Im curious how they perform compared to a similar speced G4. Ive seen all the comparisons with the windoze machines but am curious of the performance differences.

Click And Pops Recording Through Edirol

Heres a newbie query.

While recoding into peak 3.0 trough a edirol UA-1A I have recently started to notice very audible clicks and pops on playback of my recordings.

The signal level is not clipping.... Just curious if there is a setting within peak that needs adjustments. Ive tested the ouput through Itunes and its fine.

Im sure its something quite simple. Thanks for any hints in advance.
