hello - i just purchased a used MOTU2408 and along with it came a copy of the Audiodesk software.

I'm anxious to get rolling with it - but when i try to install the software from the installation cd, it prompts me for a user code. it tells me this code can be found in the inside back cover of the user guide - but nothing is there.

I have a serial # which is printed on the registration card in the front of the book - but that doesn't un-gray the "ok" button.

Now - i managed to get in touch with the person i bought it from, and he says that he may have a diskette that is usually used to authenticate the software. and on that disk is a code that users without a floppy drive would enter?

But he is not sure if he knows where this disk is.

so - while i know it is taboo in most cases to ask for such things - can anyone here help me out?! I'm a real user here - not a software pirate. so, please help a guy have a good weekend.

please email me- masshoff@attbi.com

thanks in advance!

thanks to those that responded to my earlier posts re: EZBus.

I've now found the Quattro and wondering if any of you have had a luck using it in OS9 and/or osX.

also - if you ARE using it - with what software.

thaks again in advance!

hi. reading lots of great feedback on the MOTU 828. However - I am really only in need of 4 audio inputs.

the ezbus looks inviting - but only 2 channel input via USB. i am in need of 4 simultainious.

So - the 828 is more than i need - the EZBus is less - anythign inbetween that i am missing?

if only there was a 4 input version of the EZBus. i'd love to have that control surface.

thanks in advance~
