Have a Yamaha DX7, Midisport interface, Powerbook G3 400, and cubase VST 5.0. Cannot get out put through the speakers, although the midi in does seem to be registering the input from the synth. the oupput does work on when you play the demo song, but it is fragmented and starts/stops. Does anyone know how to solve this? The manual is not helpful.

try to use cubase without OMS. and watch if it resolve midi problems.
