I'm currently running Cubase v4.0 on a B/W G3 400Mz 192MB RAM. Does anyone out there know of an updater that would allow me to use VSTis. I gather 4.1 allows this. Is this a complete revision or just an update?
I've found ftp://ftp.steinberg.net/download/mac/cubase/cubase4.1. This has an 11.9MB download but no docs to tell u what it actually is. Thanks in advance :-) Kev............. -------------------- Home to over 4 billion micro organisms.

I'm almost the same equipped as you are and I did the update almost 2 years ago. There are actually no bugs I found on 4.1. So if you continue to use the 4 version of Cubase you should really do the update. Although the upgrading to 5 isn't that expensive and 5 is of course much more uptodate.

You don't need to do any backups! Just install the update (you'll need the original 4.0 CDs) and that's it! No problems at all!
