QUOTE (KaiKProd @ Dec 3 2003, 17:11) I considered Logic but I've heard it takes complicated ways around easy functions (plus the price is a bit too high). I am curious as to what are some examples of "complicated ways around easy functions". I use Logic on panther on a G5 dual 2 GHz and it works very well. Logic, like performer, is also dedicated to the mac. Logic is also the first sequencer to be optimized for the Power Mac G5.

Metro 6 will work in a G5 running Panther. Be aware that the guys at mac kinda goofed on Panther's core midi, seems it will assign virtual instruments to channel 0, which, in effect, means that it don't exest. Fortunatly (until Mac gets that straightened up) Metro 6 has a work around. Interesting note.. SF2. files can be used like a virtual instrument in Metro 6 sequencer. Demos for Metro 6 are available here
