Has anyone downloaded the v3.2.2 driver for Tascam's US series interfaces? I was hoping to hear that it fixed the problems that many have gone on record complaining about (audio drop out).

I noticed that Tascam has overhauled their Web site but haven't brought back the forums.

I've been using the 3.2.2 driver for my 428 for some time now - no problems so far, but I wasn't having too much trouble with the 3.2.1 driver... last I heard from Frontier Design, they thought that most of the 'fizzle' problems were fixed (or drastically improved) but there's still some weird stuff going on with iTunes for some folks.

3.2.2 doesn't work for me on Panther. In 10.2.8 I have some clicks too, but don't know if it's not DP4.1 issue.

yeah, sorry - I should have added that I'm still running 10.2.5. No problems, no need to upgrade, right? Although Frontier designed the 3.2.2 driver on 10.2.6, so I'd recommend going that route. If "some clicks" is your problem, have you tried increasing your buffer settings (with the 428 Manager as well as in DP4?)

Thanks for the replies.

Although I'm already running 10.2.8, I might go ahead and buy the US-122. I'll just be sure to buy it from some place with a 30-day return policy.

If any of you are using the US-122, or if the preamps are the same ones in other US series interfaces, I'd love to hear your opinion on the pres.
