does anyone know alot about protools HD?
because i am planning on buying the 96i I/0 and i was wondering what else i need to buy to hook it up to my power mac.

dosn't it just shoot the info to the cpu via firewire....

you do realize that you need more than just the audio interface and PT software to really use PT to its potential right? I am pretty sure you will need $3000-$5000 in pci farm cards (dsp chips) to go with that interface as well as external hard drives for recording.

forgive me if I assume you are not real familiar with PT systems.. are you really just getting started? you might want to look into something a little more suited to new comers and more affordable such as a Digi001 or Digi002 if you want to use PT only this verson will be the LE version still capable of 24bit/96khz 32 tracks. cool.gif
