I want to record a demo cd! I have nothing but an iMac dv 400 with 512mb of ram, a 10 or 20 gig hd and a POD Pro. Obvisouly I want to use my POD for all my guitar sounds. Here's the really basic question... what do i need to record my POD Pro onto my iMac? What software, hardware, etc... Anyone actually have experience here?

You'll need some kind of usb-based audio interface. Digidesigns Mbox, or Events EZbus - as two examples. There are others of course.
Then you'll need some kind (D)igtal (A)udio (W)orkstation-software. (Digital Perfomer, Cubase, Logic, Ableton, Metro)
Or at least AudioDesk ( no midi ) or maybe Spark XL or Peak. ( Last two are more aimed at manipulating sound-files different ways - than recording music so to speak )
