hi,

i've just started using my mbox on my 12" powerbook and i can't get playback. it says in the manual that i have to switch my drive from a transfer to something else in digi but i don't know where or how to do that. i have been getting sound to record sometimes and the line in works. any help would be greatly apprieciated.

try going into your sound control panel and see if it shows the option for sound output called Digidesign something or something about DAE and select that for your sound ouput.

also, if you are trying to hear what it is you are recording, its possible that you don't have input monitoring on which is in hardware setup menu I think but I don't use the OSX version so not sure if its the same. wink.gif
