(I have TWIN Event PS5 speakers, hence the joking title)

I have had the same problem for a long time. My Event
PS5 speakers have a problem.. I can only get sound out
of one of them. the other isn't broken becuase
whichever one I put the left, (or mono) line cable into,
IT works. the other won't.

it was brought to my attention that it could be the
panning of just one speaker. But in Logic, I just went
to a midi track, and when I panned left the sound on
the ONE speaker got louder, and when I panned right,
there was NO sound at all.

so then, what should I try? and also, maybe Logic
has my speakers set on MONO, hense the mono cable
making one speaker work...

help!! I really want to play through both
speakers... I use the small Apple speakers for cd
playback. other wise I would test the Event ones... i
don't know how to program my Event speakers to be a
default..
I ALREADY emailed Event and they mentioned the
panning...

But what can I do in Logic to control these speakers
so both work...STEREO!!!

I am in Logic 5.5 on Jaguar osx 10.2.3 on a
Roland xp30 synth

uh… How the Event are connected? Is there a mixer? Audio interface? Whatever.

Your problem can be in logic, but it can be elsewhere and hard related.

i have event speakers and i think they really suck. i get a huge static burst sound every once in a while out of my right speaker and i i have to play with the cord, and now the same speaker has a high pitch buzzing sound. they're only a year old, and i dont even play them loud because of neighbors. now i know why i should have payed a little more and gotten the mackies.
