I'm thinking getting a mac note book for my MBOX?
which do you think works better between ibook 900HZ with 512RAM
and powerbook g4 867Hz with 256RAM?
Thank you.

if price is not an issue, the G4 will preform better. the ram, while only having 256 (which can be upgraded) is on a faster bus. although pro-tools LE is not yet altivec enabled (to take advantage of the G4) it will still be a faster processor.

Thanks for your opinion. Today, I have tried to install
PT 5.2.1 software accompanied by MBOX both Ibook and G4 power book 867. Both RAMS were 256 but failed to install,
and getting "DAE Error -6009" this kind of message.
Can you explain what this is?
