try uing just one piece of gear at a time and getting midi to work......... smile.gif

some basic facts:

midi in goes to midi out
and midi out goes to midi in

this is how your keyboard is routed to the usb 2 midi

***make sure you have OMS and it recognises your keyboard and USB 2midi
***make sure you have a usb cable running from your USB 2 midi port

you should see a flashing light on your usb2midi when you strike your keyboard

press record on your sequencer and play some notes on the keyboard

if you get midi data (lines in the track window) and you can hear what you played in
then midi is working

KISS= keep it simple stupid!!...........nothing personal- just a general statement!!

Sorry for the slow reply.... I went of vacation without telling anyone! tongue.gif
If the tascam audio ins are not 1/4' stereo inputs, then generally speaking you make a mono connection from the other devices going out of the left. Left is almost always default mono on any sound device (synths, effects, ect.) If the ins on the tascam are stereo, then yes a Y will do.

I'm not so sure what you've done with your midi connections. Your diagram seems a bit confusing.

USB Port 1 connected to Tascam
Tascam midi port 1: Tascam midi out to roland midi in
------------- Tascam midi in to roland midi out

USB Port 2 connected to Midiman Sport 2X2
Midiman port 1: Midiman out to Kawai midi in
-------------Midiman in to Kawai midi out

I think that's what you said, if so all is hooked up correctly. Both the tascam and the midiman should have 2 midi ports (2 ins, 2 outs)

I'm not so sure where to hook up the Korg. I would suspect it would probably work best conected to the tascam midi in port 2.
