I'm thinking getting a mac note book for my MBOX?
which do you think works better between ibook 900HZ with 512RAM and powerbook g4 867Hz with 256RAM? Thank you. titleq |

if price is not an issue, the G4 will preform better. the ram, while only having 256 (which can be upgraded) is on a faster bus. although pro-tools LE is not yet altivec enabled (to take advantage of the G4) it will still be a faster processor.

Thanks for your opinion. Today, I have tried to install
PT 5.2.1 software accompanied by MBOX both Ibook and G4 power book 867. Both RAMS were 256 but failed to install, and getting "DAE Error -6009" this kind of message. Can you explain what this is? |
