I am trying to join guitar lines I recorded in Cubase SL using cut and paste, and where they are joined there is pop. I am told this is called an audio pop and it is caused by a zero crossing at the beginning or end of an audio clip. I am also told the way to correct this problem is to use the fade in/out at the beginning/end of a clip respectively to remove the zero crossing. Also audio clips should not be touching. I have tried all of these with no success. I have even tried gluing so that the two audio clips are one and this does not work. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!! MY MUSIC SOUNDS LIKE CRAP WITH THESE POPS!!!!!!!!!!!- Thanks

Actually you want a zero crossing at the beginning of any audio sample....
Instead of cutting and pasting all into 1 track, try just pasting 1 area of the song into the first track, and the next area into the next track and so on, then mix them down.
