Dp4 And A Digi 001 Options

I am wondering if there is a update or hack that will allow DP4 to use Digi 001. If so where can I get it it? If not when will exist?

The Digi will only work with Protools.
DP4 is an excellent program, but with protools 6 why would you want DP? I myself run DP4 and my band mate runs Protools 6 now I must say that PT6 is an awesome program.

I also cannot get DP4 to see the digi 001. There was no problem in OS9. does anyone have the answer to this? There are many reasons to still want dp4 even if you have protools6. Particularly processor power. With "freeze tracks" dp4 wamps over protools for plug-in power(Protools 6 does't even truly use dual processors fully).

I've seen a lot of people using digidesign interfaces with DP, so Imust say this is suprising. Unless it is some conspiracy by digidesign to stop poeple from switching to DP from PT, there must be some small setting you may have overlooked...

DP4 should run on the Digi-001 fine as far as I know. It used to in OS9.
The way I remember it: DP and other DAWs can run on Digi-001 and other Digidesign audio interfaces, but you can't run Pro Tools on anything other than a Digidesign interface.

The last reply with "DP4 features to be added" does not apply to the question in this thread. DP4 and the Digi 001! DP has never worked w/TDM systems so soon it may but that doesn't answer the question about DP4 and DIGI 001. As satated above. DP has always worked with DIGI 001 in OS9. DP4 does not work with DIGI 001 in OSX. It is a Digi Core audio Driver problem which who knows when they'll fix.
