Hi Ya'll

Ive just switched from a PC and have a G4 Osx only, 512mb, an audiophile 24/96 card with logic (big box) & was told this would be hunky dory, weeeell it aint cos the sound keeps stuttering. When playing the es1 or any of the other synths it stutters? When playing audio the playback stutters? Ive played about with the mtc checkboxes in logic and all other sync parameters, I am using my tiriton as controller keyboard with local off etc. Ive adjusted all the buffers in "audio drivers" in logic, I also have Storm (with no midi enabled) and this stutters tho' not as much. I have checked i have the latest drivers for the audio card......

Any ideas anyone?

Check this thread, maybe something that can help…

Another thread talked upon effects sends making things weird (in cubase)
Also the internal clock from the card is not that good, try not to rely on it wink.gif

Apparently quite some people found the 2496 touchy… sad.gif even if for some it works perfect.

in case search for "audiophile AND 2496" in the search section. cool.gif
