hi,

i've got a weird problem.

whenever i import audio into cubase and flick to the beginning of the loop using the keyboard shortcut a few times the cpu overload light comes on and won't go off until i restart cubase. this is despite the meter showing the load as being well into the blue (10%-ish in use). this even happens with tiny (100k) aiffs.

i've tried this in a blank cubase document, with all my vst plugs disabled and it still happens. i've also tried deleteing my sound manager prefs.

this all worked fine in 4.1.

any ideas?

thanks

ben

btw: am running g4/400 with korg 1212 soundcard (latest asio installed), 250mb assigned to cubase.

try running norton on hard drive and defragging it as that may help. cool.gif
