I've been searching the forum but can not find (enough) information on the following:
I'd like to mount my akai sample cd's on my Mac G4 DP 867. When i insert a cd he can't read it. What is the simplest solution, i know ESX etc. but that's a bit expensive for me right now. There must be an easy (and cheaper) way, am i correct?

Macs don't recognise the Akai CD format…

If you want to use/read/back up your Akai sample CD you need either a soft sampler that reads akai (EXS24, Bitheadz stuff, etc.) or a utility like this one.
