Need some help. I'm building a site that serves MIDI files for music education purposes. I need for the file to play with internal voices or to external interface.

I've got it working in Windows with a Media Play object, and now I've trying to sort out the Mac side. So far, i can make my files play in Quicktime, but have not been able to get an external out. I'm testing on OS9 now, with a PCI-card interface whose drivers use OMS but not FreeMIDI. Setting the OMS preferred device control panel has now effect.

Any tips? Should I look at other players? Also, what do I need to know for OSX? Thanks!
