 Redrum On Reason, problem using midi keyboard |

When I try to create patterns using Redrum in Reason 2.0 using my midi keyboard keys the mute icon on the drum channel, corresponding to they midi controller key I press, lights up. So I don't hear the drum I have just activated nor does it record that drum on the particlular step. I know Reason is communicating with my keyboard because which mute icon lights up depends on which keyboard key I press, and I have no problem using my keyboard for other Reason racks. Any ideas? -Thanks
