First of all, Logic crashes every time I try to export a song to MIDI.

Other than that, here is my problem

While playing the 256m piano from the Akai Japan website, playing steadily, but not very fast, it stops and this pops up

" Error while trying to syncronize Audio and Midi
Sample Rate 33172 recognized
Check conflict between Logic Platinum and External Device "

huh? could this be my midisport? my Roland?

(I noticed that when I push in my Midisport, my keyboards display STILL says "Midi communication error")

In Logic, it is set to "PORT A" on my Midisport 2X2

I also noticed that when I recorded that bit of audio, that it automatically made a midi track alias. and vice versa. (this didnt happen when I opened another song)

So, from all the crap I went through with 10.1.5, thinking it was 10.1.5, now Jag is starting up.

Could I have a defective Midisport? any suggestions?

- Jeff

p.s. how to you burn Midi files to a cd? i want to make a compalation of my finished midi tracks

Crash on MIDI export is a known bug for 5.5

Check your cables first, I also have a 2x2 no problems so far,

Could also be a midi feedback loop, check your settings on the Roland
