I'm new to using ProTools and have been having problems with my plugins saving their settings. I have a Digi001 and I am recording a guitar using ProTools LE. I record to a track with no effects. I then go back and add effects. Once I get the track to sound like what I want, I save the plugin settings, as well as the session. When I quit out of ProTools and come back in, the effects are applied to the track, but the settings are all reverted back to the plugins default, and when I open the saved plugin settings, they are also at the default. So then I have to go back and redo everything, just to lose it again! Very frustrating! It seems to be a problem with every plugin I've tried.

Any Suggestions?

What exactly are you doing?!!?...
What do you mean by "the effects are applied to the track"?... I think you're actually using Audiosuite...not RTAS... Audiosuite plugs are not stored within the session... All you can do with Audiosuite is store the settings within the plug itself (pop up menu on the left of the plug). You might want to use RTAS (Real Time Audiosuite) plugs available on the tracks themselves...
Anyway... your post is confused... be more specific regarding what you're trying to do and how you're trying to do it.
And... reading the manual could help too...
