Hi,
Wondering if anyone here is running 2 or more ASIO cards with DP3. I have the delta 1010lt and would like to have more channels available. I can only use 6 of the 8 analog inputs as the first 2 inputs have XLR inputs that are too hot...when I go to the delta control panel to adjust their levels the signal is still too hot. I occassionally record small rock bands and need a few more ins. I was thinking of adding a Motu firewire 828.....but I use a Glyph firewire hard drive to record on and was concerned to use firewire as an input and output point. I'm not eve sure if I could run the delta and 828 simultaniously. The other choice would be to bite the bullet and invest in a 2408 or something like that I guess...but I already have the investment into the delta card. Any opinions would be very helpful. Oh..and by the way......This group is just amazing...... I've learned more about DP here than with my manual. ps....do you think MOTU will make the 'by the end of the year' deadline for the OS X DP ??? Here's hoping. DP is my LAST app to port to OS X! |

QUOTE (jopey @ Dec 22 2002, 04:31) ps....do you think MOTU will make the 'by the end of the year' deadline for the OS X DP ??? No. Now, I only said that because I have been wrong so many times this week--I'm on such a "wrong" roll--that I'm hoping my luck will hold out and I'll be wrong about this, too. QUOTE (jopey @ Dec 22 2002, 04:31) DP is my LAST app to port to OS X! Mine too. And they sure seem to be making a career out of bringing up the rear. |
