The title of this article is misleading.The new Mac Pro has been announced, but will not be available until December 2013.

Apple's stringing this launch out to the max!
I think it all comes down to those dual GPUs and third party software support for OpenCL. Without that I think there are better options for OSX users, especially those who use lots of VIs. |
