have you looked at the cubase web site? I think they have it on there for download although for some reason when I d/l it, I had problems with the file that was posted there but that was earlier this year... it may be working now. I don't have access to it right now but if no one has gotten around to it by this eve... I will send it to you in email if you like. wink.gif

Can't you get PT to work properly with your Mbox? Is that why you're interested in using Cubase? The PT/Mbox instructions are very shitty, but PT is alright blink.gif

I've got no problems with PT or the Mbox and they work fine together. I just want an ASIO driver for the Mbox (if it indeed exists - I'm starting to loose hope), so I can work with other app's (live, reason..) with the Mbox as the audio interface. that's all.
does the driver exist? and if so - where can I find it?

Yes it does, i personaly use it with Digital Performer. It's not very optimized, but it works!
Propagamma is also making a commercial ASIO driver, with better performance, for what i heard.

If you need the basic asio, drop me an e-mail and i'll send it to you.

Bye.

I haven't set it up yet but I just downloaded the ASIO driver from the Steinberg site at...

ftp://ftp.steinberg.net/download/mac/hardware/

As far as I know all you have to do is drop it into your ASIO folder within your application folder (I'm using Cubase). In Cubase audio preferences, you can choose between Soundmanager or DigiDesign. Select Digidesign & it should work.

I've tried the driver Yukulele sent me. many, many thanks, but it seems it doesn't work (tried dropping it into live's ASIO folder). I'll soon see if this one, from the link supplied by djcweed, works.
again, djcweed, Yukulele, thanks for all your help. I'll post the results.
