Hi!
I realise the MacPro is the best way to go for power and was curious to know if the imacs are any good for music production. I'm concerned about fan noise for a start.

Cheers

opinion, but semi-pro only. a vocalist i produce used a new imac to sequence and record demos, and i've worked on it. fan is quiet. you'll want an external drive and audio interface, of course. as much ram as you can stuff into it. big arrangements push it pretty hard, but it's been solid. definitely worth the money.
