I need a program like soundforge for the PC, that has a nice easy GUI, and is powerful at the same time. I loved sound forge by sonic foundary for the PC , it was simple and easy, fast and powerful. But the thing is they dont make it for mac . I tired peak, and I can not stand the GUi on peak, plus its crashed ALOT on me. I am looking for a good editor to record and edit wave or aiff files. Something that can import mp3 and is powerful. can anyone recommend something good?

Check out Spark by TC-Works (in the Soft section, right here on MacMusic).
Peak is also a great editor (it never crashed on me when i used it).
SoundEdit is not bad too, but really outdated IMHO (ie no OS X support).

Bye.

Strange, it's clearly at http://www.macmusic.org/softs/softcat.php/...ang/EN/id/7000/ , bottom of the page.
