Hi. I have a problem with compatibility of my usb midi-controller (Nano kontrol) and one program which I use.
I can't reliably send 2 (or more) controls to the program simultaneously at the same time. Meaning that if I move 2 sliders simultaneously, only one slider is reliably sent and registered in program, but the other one just gets stuck. With other software all works fine.
I'v read some forums in internet and found cause of this problem.
This program do not correctly implement the OS X CoreMIDI spec, which says that multiple MIDI messages may be placed in a single MIDIPacket. Some drivers do put multiple messages in a single MIDIPacket if the messages are received within a certain threshold (about 1ms), especially the built-in OS X generic USB MIDI driver. This program will drop all but the first message in such a packet.
How could I solve this problem? Maybe I should use some soft which will divide MIDIPackets into separate messages? (I'v tryed MidiPipe but this soft doesn't have this function.)
Or I should modify some files?
Any advices? (Mac OS 10.6.2)
