Here, the combo at Apple (recommended), beware, it's HEAVY (729 MB).

Remember that for music making it's safer to wait a little to see if nothing ugly shows…

So far, for normal use (non-musical) it's ok, but expect one or two reboot. In case of things seem blocked, wait a unreasonable amount of time (an hour) and you should have an up to date back up… just in case. cool.gif

Pro Tools 8 seems fine

WARNING :

Mac Pro 2 x 2.8 Quad Core Intel Xeon
Euphonix MC MIX
Apogee Ensemble
Logic Pro 8.0.2

After the new Euphonix firmware (that works fine in 10.5.6), it is invisible in 10.5.7. Only solution for now, going back to 10.5.6 until a new firmware for the MC MIX is out.

There's a download at Euphonix and it works.

Else:

ProTools HD and LE 8.0.0cs2 in audio seem fine

Other reports on Macbook C2D 2.2 GHz and Mac Pro that's it's ok.

Good to see updates with so few issues biggrin.gif

One Member reported no issue with an Apogee Ensemble (others on the Net reported problems)

Other reported issues are a problem with some Apple 24" monitors, that can be overridden with third party software to force the resolution, and one case of partial Voice Over set to on.

Just in case one has something wrong, first, repair disk/permissions, re-apply Combo, repair permissions again, and check the eventual driver…

Mind that Wacom just updated their tablet drivers, if you use them (as I do)

Hello,

My Apogee Ensemble works just fine after I downloaded the new May '09 update for 10.5.7.
Also, DP6 and all my soft synths and third party plugs are working perfectly.

Hi DANO10,

As far as I can see on the Apogee site the latest sotfware for the Ensemble is May '08.
See http://support.apogeedigital.com/index.php...tware-installer

So where did you find the May '09 update?

Regards
MacIntop

One member has Omnisphere and Stylus who can't find all their whereabouts, it's under investigation.

Stylus asks for the Sage folder, once selected, nothing…

Hello Macintop,

You got me. I misread May '08 for May '09. In any case, when I installed the May '08 update, the few problems I was having went away. I had installed the same update last May. I think installing it again after a year refreshed Ensemble and as of today everything is go.
